We currently have the following permament full-time positions available in the Lab:

Laboratory Assistant - Permament, Full-time

• Duties include: Cleaning of Glassware, Inventory maintenance, Sample Preparation, back-up support for the Administrative assistant,maintaining the lab in a clean, organized fashion,  support throughout the Lab as required for the chemical and microbiological technicians.
• Education: Minimum grade 12. WHMIS training with high school science classes preferred.
• Must have good computer skills with experience in Word and Excel programs and a valid drivers license.
• Must be willing to work independantly or as part of a team and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Wages: 10.00/hour to start

Administrative Assistant - Permament, Full-time

• Duties include: Receipt, Log-in and final reporting of Client samples, Client liason, Recieiving and directing phone calls as required, Filing, Inventory maintenance, back-up support for the laboratory assistant, 
• Education: Minimum grade 12. WHMIS training with high school science classes preferred.
• Must have good computer skills with experience in Word and Excel programs and a valid drivers license.
• Must be willing to work independantly or as part of a team and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Wages: 10.00/hour to start

Laboratory Technician 1 - Permament, Full-Time

• Duties: Include Sample Preparation, Analysis and Reporting for Microbiological and / or Chemical Tests, Inventory and Equipment Verification and Maintenance, Method Research and Validation, Client Liason as required.
• Equipment Utilized: Balances, Moisture Ovens, Incubators, Steam Generators, Water Baths, Fat and Fiber Extraction Units, Kjeldahl apparatus, Leco instrument, HPLC, GC Instrumentation, etc.
• Education: Minimum Technical Certificate such as Chemical Technology or Biotechnology  or Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Microbiology or Biology
• Wage: 12.00 / hour to start
• Experience: 1-2 years
• Postion Available: Immediate
