Oilseed Testing - physical tests, chemical tests, microbiological tests, stability tests and quality assurance.

SunWest Food Laboratory Ltd. offers a variety of physical, chemical, microbiological and stability tests on the following products: borage, camelina, canola, corn, flax, hemp, linola, linseed, mustard, poppy seed, pumpkin, rapeseed, safflower, sesame, sunflower, sunola.

Physical Tests – density, foreign matter, net contents, particle size.

Quality Assurance - investigate complaints, monitor product consistency, measure product quality against national standards, monitor adherence of product to government or supplier specifications.

Stability Tests - AOM, accelerated and ambient stability studies, free fatty acids, OSI (rancimat), peroxide value, sensory evaluation, shelf life.
